What is Coaching?

You’ve likely heard of coaching before, maybe in the realm of sports, business or executive, but the real question is coaching the right fit for you? Intuity Performance believes that everyone should have access to a Performance Coach. The following will shed some light on who benefits from coaching, how it works, what to expect and what you might get from working with a coach.

Who needs Coaching?

Anyone seeking to grow their professional edge, push past comfortable boundaries, further develop their skills or who are feeling stuck in a specific area will benefit from Coaching. Whether you’re seeking to elevate your performance, leadership, communication or human skills; Coaching can help uncover those uncharted paths. Coaching can be a good fit for just about anyone, however, the willingness of the client to be coached and put in the work will determine the success of the coaching engagement. In other words, you can’t coach someone who doesn’t want to be coached.

Professionals that have a lot of questions that focus internally, about themselves, how they can adapt, improve or see things differently, are excellent partners for Coaching.

"A case study on women leaders who participated in coaching shows that leadership coaching can improve: self-awareness, self-confidence, self-leadership, leadership style, as well as their relationship to power, conflict, and personal life."

"Through constant questioning, we see more clearly just who we really are, and what remarkable resources we have access to. We will also see more clearly what is really facing us, and we will become more capable of accepting and responding to change."

"Action Learning in Practice"

How does Coaching work?

We are trained and professionally certified and have a clear set of standards and ethics that guide the nature of the Coaching relationship. We make Coaching feel like a conversation. We meet you where you are currently at and seek to positively challenge you. Coaching is unbiased, deep listening and asking the right questions, at the right time to focus on supporting the client to take action towards the realization of their visions, goals, or dreams. Coaching works from within and we apply a Whole Person Performance approach to expand limiting beliefs and develop areas in your life through concrete actions that result in real change.

Most of our coaching sessions are offered one-on-one in a virtual environment where we co-create goals and objectives, assist you to clear roadblocks and set course to elevate your performance and achieve what’s in sight.

We offer a complimentary 30-minute coaching session to allow clients to experience coaching and assess a mutual fit with their Coach. Like any relationship, working with a Coach that you can build trust and connect with, can determine the success of your long-term coaching experience.

The call provides you with an opportunity to experience your Coach's particular coaching style and share where you’re looking for help. During that time you and the Coach may identify a roadmap of what it would look like working together, as well as goals to work towards.

What can I expect from an Intuity Coaching session?

  • A Coach is a catalyst to activate learning through real-life action.

  • A Coach is there to guide you to find the right answers within yourself rather than provide ready-made solutions.

  • A Coach helps you understand the tools you have at your disposal to call on them when the situation requires it.

  • A Coach provides ongoing feedback and confidential space to discuss roles and challenges.

  • A Coach is an unbiased partner to help shift thinking, unlock potential, increase self-awareness, and support you in your journey.

  • When it’s needed, a Coach is someone who has your back.

  • Coaching is a proven resource for introspection and personal/professional growth.

  • Coaching is action-oriented, as well as both present and future-focused.

  • Coaching can feel therapeutic (but is not therapy), reduce stress levels, and bring a sense of calm.
